Which files work?
EPUB and PDF. Upload from your library with “Add a book”.
Why can't I add more books?
The free plan is capped; see pricing to upgrade.
The voice sounds robotic.
Narration uses your device's installed voices — try a different voice in the reader's voice panel, or install higher-quality system voices.
Can it read other languages?
Yes — narration uses your device's voices, so it can read any language your device has a voice installed for. The voice panel lists what's available; here's how to add more.
Can I save highlights, notes, and bookmarks?
Those are part of the Reader plan. Free accounts can read and listen to up to three books; see pricing to unlock saving marks and an unlimited library.
How do I delete a book or my account?
Remove a book from your library — that deletes its file and its marks. To close your account entirely, go to your account settings; it permanently removes your account, reading data, and uploaded books.
What's the timer button in the audio bar?
It's the sleep timer — it stops narration after a set time, so you can listen as you fall asleep.
Something's broken.
Check status, then email us with what you were doing when it happened.
